Roasted yams, creamy avocado (marinated in lemon and herbs), sweet cherry tomatoes, raw snap peas, candied walnuts (or pecans or almonds), the best greens you can get your hands on and any kind of soft cheese tossed with a lemon vinaigrette…. it’s a meal.

I can’t stop! Armadillo Potatoes!! These are no longer on the menu but you should ask for them because they are otherworldly, filled with cheese and cream fraiche, they are boiled and then sliced and roasted. What’s in the slices? Melty cheese. Tell them Tara said you could order these.

Not everyone eats pork, but it can be a surprising protein when it’s prepared lightly like it is here. It’s critical to know your farmer when purchasing any meat, we get our pork from Peads and Barnetts. Remember when we visited the farm HERE?

Ok, I know I started out talking about salad, and I love a high level (read: quality ingredients) salad, but I got carried away. We cook so much beautiful and enriching food, it’s hard not to be restrained when eating around here! Good thing real food fills you up quick or I wouldn’t fit in my clothes.
