I’m proud to say we are very careful of how we source our chicken. It is always pasture-raised, antibiotic-free, and lives it’s entire life outside. This chicken costs a lot more than factory-farmed chicken and it should. It takes more time, more effort, more energy and higher quality feed (in addition to foraging for worms and grass), and it should (read more from a farm visit HERE). We should pay more for our meat and eat less of it. Much less. Vegetables are so exciting! And so is supporting small farms. Thank you for keeping us busy so we can use our buying power to keep these small farmers going.
